The thesis tackles the lacking sense of space in Central due to circulatory and infrastructural challenges. A parasitical system is embedded into the old urban fabric – connecting the existing public escalator to various cultural facilities. With a light and minimal footprint, this project not only offers a multi-level infrastructure for pedestrians to explore the neighbourhood, but also leads visibility to local cultural institutions.
